Customer care is very important to us, and we prefer to use a common-sense set of rules rather than legalese when dealing with customers! However, to protect both sides, the following Terms & Conditions will apply every time you access our website and/or order goods from our website or view the information we provide.
This website is operated by Al Fresco Feasts Ltd, trading as Parcel.Love, and the contents of it are either our property or are used under licence from our suppliers. We are the owners of the compilation of information in this website. Our rights and those of our suppliers are protected by UK, European, and international intellectual property laws, including those for the protection of copyrights, trademarks, and database rights. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive and revocable licence to access our website for the purposes of browsing our product offers or ordering goods from us. Your licence to access our website does not extend to any commercial use of our website, or to any use of our website whatsoever which is for the benefit of any commercial entity other that of our own. You are expressly not permitted to download any part of our site (other than by reason of automatic page caching), to amend or modify it or any part of it, to reproduce or copy or otherwise exploit our website (or any part of it) for any purpose other than as set out above.
You may not modify, distribute or re-post anything on this website for any purpose. All designs on this website are protected under intellectual property law, and any plagiarism, close imitation or 'passing off' of our designs is a direct infringement of our copyright policy and UK copyright laws.
You are permitted to link to our home page, provided that the link is not misleading, false, derogatory, or otherwise prejudicial to our interests.
Please note that whilst we always aim to make our handmade products to the same design as that photographed on the website, variation will occur due to the artisan nature of the items. Where an item is out of stock, items of the same value or above will be substituted.
All prices on the website are in pounds sterling. Delivery prices are quoted for UK delivery. All prices include VAT. Our VAT registration number is 216732811
Most of our orders are despatched using The Collect Group, Yodel or UPS. Although we do our best to ensure parcels arrive within the estimated time frame or by a customer-requested date, we cannot guarantee the exact delivery date or time. Where delays occur, we do our best to resolve them, and will replace or refund where goods don’t arrive in satisfactory condition, but we cannot accept liability for late deliveries. When your parcel has been despatched using The Collect Group, Yodel or UPS, deliveries are based on those company’s terms and conditions. Tracking data will be sent to customers for all items, and the couriers may provide “in-flight” options which allow items to be diverted to neighbours or retrieved from depots. Where a correct address is given, our couriers will make 3 attempted deliveries on subsequent days. After this time, they will not make further attempts, and the parcel will be considered undeliverable and no refund can be made. In the case of the courier failing to make the first delivery attempt more than 3 working days beyond the estimated time given, then the parcel will be considered “lost” and replaced or refunded. Whilst that might be the contractual situation, in practice the delivery firms do not want to have “undelivered” items, and so will attempt to leave parcels with neighbours or in a safe location instead. (This is at the discretion of the delivery driver though.)
We organise delivery to the delivery address that you provide us with at the time of ordering. Errors can be corrected before despatch by contacting us. After despatch, however, it is the customer’s responsibility to rearrange delivery to a changed address with the courier, and no liability for this can be accepted by Parcel.Love. Delivery is made to an address not to a stated person.
We shall not be liable for any loss or damage due to delays or failure to ship resulting from any cause beyond our reasonable control, such as, but not limited to, compliance with laws or regulations, acts of God, national or regional health emergencies, acts or omissions of the Purchaser, acts or civil or military authority, judicial action, defaults of sub-contractors or suppliers, labour disputes, failure or delays in transportation, embargoes, wars or riots.
If you change your mind, refunds can be granted only up until 9pm the night before despatch. After this time, no refund can be granted unless the item is not received in a satisfactory state. Due to the short-shelf life of the food items, parcels cannot be returned for refund.
